Miami University
Bridges Program

An overnight visit experience
for high school seniors

Jessica, our Bridges Program application is now live, and we hope you'll share this opportunity with your students. The program offers high school seniors a firsthand look at life at Miami University and is designed especially for students who are first-generation college-bound or who have demonstrated financial need.

During the Bridges Program, students:

  • Visit Miami's campus to get a sense of what it would be like to be a student here.

  • Engage with students and professors in a Miami classroom.

  • Stay overnight in an area hotel and eat in our student dining halls.

Your support is crucial in guiding students through the college search. A simple recommendation from you can be an important step in their college journey.

Application Deadline:
Sept. 26, 2025

Bridges Program Scholarship:

Students who complete the Bridges Program and enroll on the Oxford campus for fall 2026 will be eligible to receive the Bridges Program scholarship. Last year, the Bridges Program scholarship ranged from $2,500 to $5,000 annually. Students can stack this scholarship with other Miami awards. In fact, most Bridges participants receive multiple awards, for total values ranging from half to full tuition.
