Kenston Schools are excited to announce our participation in the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge, a statewide initiative led by Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
This program, designed for students in grades 4 through 8, encourages the development of lifelong healthy habits through personal goal setting in the areas of physical activity, nutrition, and sleep. It directly supports our District Health and Wellness Initiative, highlighting our ongoing commitment to the overall well-being of every Kenston student.
Today, Tuesday, September 9, Lt. Governor Jim Tressel and Ted Ginn Jr. visited our students and staff, sharing exercises, reminding them to focus on gratitude, and encouraging them to get excited about being healthy.
We look forward to seeing our students achieve success and reach their full potential.
