On Saturday, October 18, talented high school singers from across Northeast Ohio gathered on the campus of Kent State University to participate in the annual Kent State Honor Choir. Kenston High School was proudly represented by eight students: Brooklyn Alexander, Audrey May, Jane Eibler, Payton Timmons, Kiefer Schatz, Donovan Carney, Will Radefeld, and Rhys Serquina.
Following a full day of rehearsals, the 200-member Honor Choir performed in concert alongside Kent State University’s vocal ensembles under the direction of Dr. Matthew Swope, Director of Choral Activities. The event offered students an excellent opportunity to collaborate with peers from across the region and to experience collegiate-level choral performance.
