The Kenston Speech and Debate Team delivered an outstanding performance at the Gilmour Academy Speech and Debate Tournament on October 18, 2025, with several students earning top placements in highly competitive events.
Leading the team was Addison Weber, who achieved a first-place finish in Extemporaneous Debate. Sophia Coburn earned second-place in Extemporaneous Speaking, and Nica Giancola placed fourth in Congressional Debate. Congratulations to Addison, Sophia, and Nica on a great day of competition and achievement.
These accomplishments reflect the hard work, preparation, and dedication of our students, as well as the guidance and support of their coaches. Kenston Schools is proud to celebrate the success of the KHS Speech and Debate Team as they continue to build their skills and represent our community with excellence.
