William Radefeld

William Radefeld is honored as the September Rotary Student of the Month. He maintains an outstanding 4.431 GPA and excels both academically and in extracurricular activities. William has earned the AP Scholar with Distinction award and is on track to receive the AP Capstone Diploma. His academic achievements include numerous awards, such as a varsity letter in academics, an academic medal, and the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence for three consecutive years.

Throughout his high school years, William has been an active member of the Trivia Club, the Kenston Speech and Debate Team, and the Kenston Chapter of the National Honor Society. These commitments have required significant dedication, allowing him to compete at advanced levels and demonstrate a strong commitment to his community. Additionally, William has been a four-year member of the marching band, serving as a leader for three years, and has participated in Kenston Center Stage, where he has taken on multiple lead and supporting roles. His love for music extends to Varsity Jazz, Mixed Choir, and Symphonic Band, where he consistently challenges himself with increasingly complex musical pieces each year.

Outside of school, William enriches his musical talents as a member of the Cleveland Youth Orchestra, a selective youth chorus. He has also served as a camp counselor at the Aurora Community Theater’s Children Summer Workshop and volunteers as a lector at his church. William is deeply committed to community service, having logged over 300 hours of volunteer work.

Looking ahead, William plans to attend a four-year university to pursue studies in finance or economics, aiming to build a career that combines his academic strengths with his passion for community involvement.
