Jack Miller - February 2026 Rotary Senior

Jack Miller was selected as the Chagrin Valley Rotary Senior of the month for February at Kenston. Teachers and staff at Kenston describe Jack as a hard-working, dedicated, and reliable student.
Jack excels academically and in extracurricular activities at both Kenston High School and the Auburn Career Center. Throughout his high school career, he has successfully balanced heavy course loads at both schools while maintaining outstanding academic performance. At Kenston, Jack has challenged himself with Advanced Placement and Honors courses while completing an equally intense course load at the Auburn Career Center. In addition to his academic achievements, Jack has participated in the SkillsUSA program and completed an internship program, further demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and career readiness.


He has also demonstrated strong leadership as a member of a student advisory committee at Kenston and Team Auburn, where he helps lead visit days and assemblies at the Auburn Career Center.
Jack is also involved in athletics. He is a dedicated member of the Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track teams, demonstrating perseverance, discipline, and teamwork. Additionally, he is a member of the Kenston Sportsman Club.


Beyond the school day, Jack is committed to serving others through his involvement in the Boy Scouts and various volunteer opportunities, reflecting his strong character and dedication to his community. As a Boy Scout Senior Patrol Leader, he is responsible for leading his troop, organizing events, and mentoring younger scouts. His proudest achievement is earning his Eagle Scout award for a project that improved the outdoor area for all students at Kenston Middle School. In addition to his participation in Boy Scouts, Jack has volunteered at the Bainbridge Ox Roasts, Civic Club Pancake Breakfast, and Cross Country Camps.


Looking ahead, Jack plans to pursue an apprenticeship and enter the workforce in welding or metalworking, where he can apply his technical skills and hands-on training in a skilled profession.
