Today across Kenston Schools, our community pauses to remember September 11, 2001.
Through classroom discussions and moments of silence, our teachers and students reflected on the stories of America that emerged from that tragic day. Stories of courage, unity, selflessness, and service to others. Honoring 9/11 is about keeping history alive and ensuring future generations remember.
We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

🎡 The Great Geauga County Fair is in full swing, offering incredible hands-on learning experiences for our Kenston students and families both inside and outside the classroom!
📚Geauga Learn Day: Our 4th-grade students enjoyed an educational visit to the fairgrounds for Geauga Learn Day. This is a special program designed specifically to teach students about agriculture, county history, military history, and natural resources.
💙 As you explore the fairgrounds this week, keep an eye out for Bomber pride in every corner:
👑 Junior Fair King: A special congratulations to Kenston High School's very own Junior Fair King, Anthony Intelisano! We know you will represent Kenston with pride throughout the fair.
🎨 Education Building: Stroll through to admire incredible artwork created by our talented students and see the ✈️ Kenston Schools Booth.
🧵 Domestic Arts Building: Check out hand-crafted student entries ranging from intricate sewing projects to delicious baked goods. We are so proud of students like Harper Gibson, who crocheted a beautiful American Flag and entered it for judging!
🐇 Animal Barns: Meet our hardworking students! Showing livestock takes incredible dedication—these students practice all year mastering showmanship before presenting to the judges. You might spot Nimbus, a 4-year-old Jersey Wooly rabbit shown by Kenston student Dahlia Freeman (Geauga Best 4-H Club), or Reuben, an impressive 6-month-old Duroc pig weighing 254 lbs shown by Will Timmons (Auburn Dairymen).
👏 Junior Fair Board: We are equally proud of KHS students Lexi Yingling and Alden Peterson, who serve on the Junior Fair Board after going through a competitive interview process—building vital skills for their futures beyond high school.
And, of course, the fair wouldn't be complete without two beloved annual traditions: 🐔 The Chicken Flying Contest: This classic rivalry pits Kenston’s and West Geauga's superintendents against each other for the coveted chicken trophy! While Kenston didn't take home the win this year, Dr. Willingham shared: "Don't worry Kenston, we'll be back next year!"
🎺 Band-O-Rama: Catch the Kenston High School Marching Band and Bomberettes alongside local high school bands in this high-energy showcase at 1:30 PM this Sunday!
We encourage the entire Kenston community to come out and support our students. Give them a high five, a thumbs up, or a cheer when you see them to let them know their Bomber Family is proud of them! 💙📣 #KenstonSchools #KenstonPride #GeaugaCountyFair

Dear Timmons Families,
On this eve of back-to-school day…it is such an honor and a privilege to welcome you and your family to Timmons Elementary School! Timmons is a very special place where your child will truly thrive and grow. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment where students have opportunities to show their unique talents and discover brand new ones. On behalf of the entire Timmons faculty, we are thrilled to work alongside your family. We believe that a strong, heartfelt partnership is the key to our students' success. As you begin this exciting school year with us, please never hesitate to reach out with any questions or just to say hello. We are so happy to have you here—welcome to the Timmons family!
In preparation for the first day of school… Please take a moment to review the recent email sent from the district, as it has important procedural information.
And for a little fun… linked here (Click Here) is a Principal Read Aloud for students to enjoy as they get ready for the big day! Enjoy this version of School’s First Day of School.
Sincerely,
Ms. Hasenohrl
Good afternoon, Kenston Families,
Earlier this afternoon, you should have received an email from your child's principal. If you did not receive the email, it will be shared on the building webpage. In that email, it was shared that student schedules/teacher assignments and transportation information are now live. If you do not see the information right at 3:00, please wait a few minutes and refresh your browser, as it does take a few minutes to process once turned on.
If you have any issues accessing Infinite Campus or locating teacher or transportation info, please email kenston@kenstonapps.org, and your email will be routed to the correct department.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Meet the Teacher/Open House on Monday, August 17 from 5 to 8 pm, and for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 19.
Have a great afternoon!

Is your student an Incoming Kindergartener? Or, are you new to the district and have a student who will be attending TES?
If you answered yes to either of those questions, mark your calendar, as you won't want to miss the Incoming Kindergarten or New to TES Parent Meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 6 pm in the Timmmons Multipurpose Room.
This quaint, welcoming time is designed as a touchpoint to help you and your families acclimate to TES. This relaxed session is designed for families new to the building/district and offers an opportunity to help you feel confident by walking the building in a quieter atmosphere, submit questions for Q&A, and pick up your Kindergarten yard sign if you were not able to do so at the Meet and Greet.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Calling the Kenston Class of 2039!
Don't forget this Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 am, is the TES Incoming Kindergarten Meet and Greet at Auburn Park, hosted by the Timmons PTO.
This fun-filled event is a great opportunity for your incoming student to meet new friends, enjoy fun kid-friendly activities, pick up an official Class of 2039 yard sign, meet some members of the Timmons staff, and grab some Kenston Gear.
See you there!
