The Kenston High School Boys Soccer team once again demonstrated its commitment to community service during its annual food drive on September 28. This tradition has been a meaningful part of the program for over 15 years.
Team captains—Ryan Flynn, Aiden Caspell, Jared Lechak, and Michael Hutchison—along with senior Aidan Insana, played key leadership roles in organizing and overseeing the day’s activities. Nearly the entire soccer team participated, canvassing designated neighborhoods for two hours to collect donations.
The team then regrouped at the Bainbridge Area Food for Friends, where they delivered an impressive seven truckloads of nonperishable goods. Working together, the boys unloaded the donations, checked expiration dates, and stocked pantry shelves—ensuring the food was ready for distribution to local families in need.
With perfect fall weather, strong teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose, the day was a resounding success. Kenston Local Schools and the KHS Boys Soccer coaching staff are incredibly proud of the team’s hard work and deeply appreciative of the community’s generous support.
