At the January 12, 2026, Kenston Board of Education Organizational Meeting, the District welcomed two newly elected Board members, Ms. Girtha Smith and Mr. Benjamin Timmons.
The Board also welcomed back Dr. Beth Krause, who returned for her fifth term on the Kenston Board of Education, bringing continued leadership and experience.
During the meeting, Treasurer Mr. Seth Cales administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Timmons, Ms. Smith, and Dr. Krause. The Board also voted to retain its current leadership, with Mr. Thomas Manning continuing as Board President and Dr. Beth Krause remaining as Vice President.
In addition, the Board approved a new meeting time, with regular Board of Education meetings now scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
The 2026 Kenston Board of Education is comprised of Thomas Manning, Jim Henry, Beth Krause, Ph.D., Girtha Smith, and Benjamin Timmons.
