Huge Congratulations goes out to Brooke Carlson who received the Gay Janis Award for Speech & Debate which is a prestigious annual honor presented by the National Speech & Debate Association! This award is considered one of the highest individual honors in high school speech and debate in the country.
The award is given to one recipient each year who demonstrates:

Service to their school and the broader speech & debate community
Strong character and commitment to the activity
