Today, Mr. Koltas’s Geometry classes are putting their skills to the test by calculating the heights of the Atrium ceiling and the flagpole. Using angles, measurements, and a little critical thinking, students are seeing how geometry goes far beyond the textbook.
Love watching learning come to life at Kenston!

Even thought the temperature has improved slightly, the reports on the roads are still a little dicey. For the safety of our young drivers and students waiting for buses, the Kenston Local Schools will be closed today, Wednesday, January 28th.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience, but the temperatures have made plowing the roads are big challenge.
Stay safe Bombers,
Dr. Willingham

Dear Kenston Families and Staff,
As we continue to monitor the weather forecast and transition from a Cold Weather Warning to a Cold Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service, Kenston Schools will be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28.
While the low temperature may appear colder than today, the “feels like” temperature is expected to improve tomorrow as winds subside.
As tomorrow will still be cold, I ask for your help in ensuring students arrive at school prepared for the elements. This includes:
- Wearing warm coats, hats, gloves, and scarves
- Dressing in layers when possible
- Wearing appropriate footwear for cold conditions
- Speaking with student drivers about safe winter driving
Additionally, I have spoken with our Principals, the Transportation and Grounds/Maintenance departments, and they have assured me that our buses and buildings will be ready for our students.
I appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this Ohio winter together. I look forward to seeing our students at school tomorrow.
Take care,
Dr. Willingham

Take care and stay warm Bombers!
